Veronica Smith is a gifted vocalist from Richmond, Virginia, whose musical journey began at eight years old at Pilgrim Journey Baptist Church. By fourteen, she was active in multiple choirs at Saint Paul’s Baptist Church, and she now serves faithfully with the Mass Choir and Praise Team at Rising Mount Zion. Influenced by gospel legends like Aretha Franklin, Mahalia Jackson, Tamela Mann, Yolanda Adams, and Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Veronica’s powerful voice continues to inspire audiences. Her talents have taken her across the world, including a 32-city European tour with the Black Gospel Stars. In 2024, she shared the stage with Grammy Award winner Samara Joy, marking another milestone in her artistry. Veronica’s singles “Work on Me” and “Keep Fighting” are available on all major platforms, and her upcoming project, The Goodness of God, promises to uplift and encourage listeners.
